Asphalt & Concrete

Duracourt is ideal for new and previously painted all-weather recreational surfaces.

Use on tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, and general recreational court surfaces.

Repairs First

Fill Cracks & Pits

Peeling or flaking paint must be removed before recoating. Cracks and pits should be filled before coating.

Asphalt can be repaired with asphalt patching compound. Concrete can be repaired with #960 Concrete Patch or similar material.

Clean Surface

Sweep, Wash & Etch

After repairs set overnight, sweep the surface free of dirt and loose debris.

Grease or oily areas should be washed with TSP or No. 910 Washing Compound. Slick concrete should be acid etched and rinsed.

Application Procedure

Mask boundary lines with 2" masking tape before applying court coatings. This helps speed the painting process and reduces trimming.

Paint the inbounds playing area first. Use an 18" roller cover with a 1/2" nap and a four- or five-foot extension handle.

Mixing & Spreading

For greater ease of application, thin Duracourt coatings 10% with water.

Stir thoroughly, pour approximately one-half gallon onto the surface, and spread liberally without stretching the coating too thin.

Material Needs

Use a spread rate of approximately 125 square feet per gallon to estimate material needs. Always account for court size, out-of-bounds areas, and line markings.

Spread Rate

Estimate Duracourt material needs using approximately 125 sq. ft. per gallon.

Tennis Courts

A standard tennis court may require approximately 20–25 gallons for the inbounds area and 35–40 gallons for the out-of-bounds area.

Pickleball Courts

Pickleball inbounds dimensions are 20' × 44' and typically require approximately 8–9 gallons of coating.

Safety & Handling Reminder

Wear personal protective equipment, avoid contact with skin and eyes, keep containers closed when not in use, and reference the product SDS for additional safety information.
